The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

First I would like to thank

for the premium membership subscription!

It's a great b'day gift!
It has been a while since I have been active, I haven't been posting any new photos... In fact I am starting to wonder if dA is still a good place to share my works... I noticed lately that more and more sexually obsessed people make accounts, not only to jack off to nude photos, but also to share their kinky thoughts, or troll about things that have nothing to do with the photo they are commenting. So if anyone of those two kind of people are reading this, I want to say only that dA is a place where you appreciate art, and not the nudity of the model. So who still wants to choose dA as masturbation material source, at least have the decency to keep your thought for yourself. As for the wannabe trolls, if you really feel the need to annoy someone, at least learn how to troll. I'm just saying that... it's hard to troll a troll
